The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of more than 300,000 air fryers sold at Walmart, Target and Kohl’s stores nation wide due to a fire hazard.

The air fryers, sold under the brand names Ultrean, Gourmia, and Power AirFryer Oven Plus, are being recalled because the heating element in the fryers can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

There have been five reports of fires, however, no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the fryers, unplug the unit and contact the manufacturer to either receive a full refund or a free replacement.
